Count Down to Christmas Day

Tomorrow is a holiday lunch at my office and I've always made cards for each of the 14 people in office staff.  I thought I'd post the cards I made for them this year.

There are 14 people in our office so I made seven of each of these cards.  This was an easy card to reproduce which is what I was hoping for since there's so much to do this time of year.

The stamps are from the fabulous "Wishing You Joy" StampTV kit.  CS is from GKD pure luxury "white" and "Red Hot".  Colored with Copic Markers, dp is from PTI.

Thanks for stopping by.
Wishing you JOY this coming Christmas!

The Light Has Come

I'm posting like crazy today because there's a full week of "busy" ahead and I wanted to get my challenge cards in so I don't miss them.

This card is for Maureen's inspiration CAS Sunday challenge over at Outlawz.  Here's the inspiration piece she came up with

My inspiration came from the lights and the traditional Christmas colors.

CS:  GKD Pure Luxury "All Spruced Up", "Red Hot" and White
Stamp:  Sweet n Sassy

Thanks for spending so much time with me today!  Have a great week and I hope your holidays are full of joy and blessings.

A Time for Peaceful

I'm playing along with a new challenge this week.  Over at One Layer Wednesday, Susan is challenging us to a one layer card expressing "peaceful".
A friend of my husband's passed away last week and he asked me to create a sympathy card for his wife and family.  He didn't want any "frills" (what, Moi???  Frills????), so I created this card for him to send to his friend's family.
I'd also like to add that CAS cards, while seemingly look simple to do, are not simple for me to do.  I am constantly trying to do better with them because I love their look.  So, thanks to Susan's blog, I'm getting better and enjoying my play time creating them.

CS:  Gina K Pure Luxury White
Stamps:  GKD "Hope Grows", by Theresa Momber.  (The sentiment is not from this set.  Sorry, but I can't remember which set it came from but it was also a GKD stamp).
Inks:  Vivid "Cobblestone" and Memento "Cantaloupe", "Tangelo" and "London Fog" (the butterfly).

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a peaceful day!
