There's a party going on over at the OUTLAWZ, Giddy-up over there and have some fun!
This is my card for the Sunday CAS challenge.
This is the inspiration photo.
Love these boots! My eye went to the white stars on the dark background....they just jumped right out there so here's my card for the CAS challenge.
It doesn't get much simpler than this....Kraft Card Stock is from Gina K Pure Luxury line. Stars were cut with my Quikcutz (haven't used that in eons) out of GKD White CS and they were layered on "In the Navy" also by GKD. The "Howdy" stamp is from the Stamp Set "Out West" by Theresa Momber.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great holiday weekend.

I'm so excited to be playing along with Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #42 this week. I've been watching from the sidelines for many weeks - often not having the time to join in the fun there. Seeing Vicki's sketch this week, I knew I had to give it a go....so I grabbed some Sunday afternoon time and made my card.
Here's Vicki's great sketch -
and here's my card -
The sum of it's parts: CS is GKD PL Kraft and Black Onyx. DP is "The Thrift Shop" from October Afternoon. Stamps are Mark's Finest Papers 2 Big Boxers "Sew What?" set. It's an adorable set and I love it. (I love those dogs too) Other: Netestabilitie Ovals, old buttons, MS lacy border punch and some ribbon from my stash.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I truly appreciate it. As long as you're here, leave me a comment, I love reading them. Become a follower and check back often for postings.
Have a great week!

I'm loving my subscription to Techniques Junkies and the most recent publication has so many great technique ideas. The card here is from the newest newsletter February/March 2011 and the technique I used is called Neutral Shadows. Get a subscription to this fab publication, you'll love it.

Hello blogger friends!
Can you believe it's mid-February? Time seems to fly so quickly these days.
Stamp TV has another color challenge going on - so join in and play along. The colors this week are
If you don't have the GKD pure luxury CS papers/colors choose what you have in your stash that's close and join in. The winner (selected at random) will receive a brand new stamp set (valued up to $24.95) by GKD.
I've been working on the CAS (clean and simple) technique and thought this would be a fun color group to create a CAS card with.
I used the CS for framing the image which was stamped using 3 stamp sets by Melanie Muenchinger (one of them was a WIN) - "Pressed Flowers", "A Year of Flowers" and for the sentiment, "Arranged with Love". I used Memento inks, "London Fog" and "Tangelo". At first I was going to use a mask for the flowers, but then after trying it with a more transparent/shadowy look, I decided I liked it much better. This was a very easy and quick card to put together. Give the color challenge a try and have some fun. All products can be purchased at Stamptv
Thanks for stopping by - have a great week and a very Happy Valentine's Day!
