Hi there blog friends!

Wendy and Bill at Repeat Impressions are revealing a fabulous new quilting and stained glass stamp set and U could win it by hopping along and playing our scrabble game.

Here are some cards I made using the new set

Here's how it works - U hop to each blog on the list, collect a letter from each Rock Star and then unscramble the word.  When U have the word, don't waste any time, email Ur guess to Wendy at and if U're correct, U'll be entered in a drawing to win THE ENTIRE SHEET OF THE NEW STAMPS.

Now U better get hopping and unscramble that word because U will have only until 5:00 pm est, Sunday, January 12 to get it to Wendy and be entered in the drawing. The winner will be announced on The House That Stamps Built Blog and Repeat Impressions Facebook page.

Hop over to my Rock Star Teamies to get Ur letter and see some fabulous inspiration using these new stamps.

Thanks so much for stopping by and GOOD LUCK!

Oh!  And in case U missed letter is "U".

Hello, blog friends!

We're having some crazy weather here in Maine!  Christmas week we had a horrible ice storm that left us without power for 33 hours (some people even long) Then we were hit with a snowstorm that dumped about a foot of snow on us.  For the past two weeks it's been brutally cold (well below zero for many days), now today, the temps are up in the 50's and it's raining. Tonight the cold temps return which will will mean all the wet will turn into ice and that won't be good at all.  Crazy!

Bad weather is a perfect excuse to stay home and play with crafts and join in some challenges.  The What If? Wednesday challenge is up at The House That Stamps Built and it's another great sketch from Wendy.  I hope you'll find some time to play along with us.

Here's the sketch

Here's a card I made using it

As I've mentioned in previous posts, I'm trying to use up scraps and I grabbed some for this card, including pieces of lace I've had for oh, so long.  The Repeat Impressions stamp I used for this image is one of my faves, #405-L "Peaches".  I colored them with Copic Markers and added a lacy oval die from MFT to frame it.

Here are links to my very talented Rock Star Teamies for more inspiration using this sketch

THERE'S EXCITING NEWS:  Stop back tomorrow because Repeat Impressions will be revealing a brand new stamp set and you will have a chance to win it.

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by.

Hi blog friends!

There's another CAS challenge posted at Outlawz and this week the super talented Linda Anderson is challenging us to "something new".

Here's her challenge:

"New Beginnings" Challenge - It's a new year with lots of new goals (notice I didn't say resolutions!!!). This week's challenge is all about something new - think new baby, new house, new stamps, new friend. Whatever you think of as something new, create a card CAS style.

I found a "new to me" iris folding template at Circle of Crafters and decided to give it a try.  I loved how it came out.  If you've never tried iris folding, it might just be your "new" thing for this year.  Have fun.

Thanks so much for stopping by and please come back on Thursday because Repeat Impressions will be unveiling a brand new stamp set and we'll be having a blog hop and a game for you to play.  You might just win the whole set of new stamps.
