SUNDAY CAS CHALLENGE AT OUTLAWZ

Hi blog friends!!!

I hope you're all having a fabulous Labor Day weekend!  It doesn't seem possible that summer is now offically ended....gee, it gets here too fast.

There's a new Sunday CAS challenge over at Outlawz and if you like sports, you'll love this one and want to play along.

The challenge is from Linda "Are You Ready for Some Football?" - I can't begin to tell you how excited I am that professional football is about to start!! I must admit, I'm a big sports lover of hockey and baseball as well. This week your challenge is to create a CAS card with a sports theme - think football, baseball, golf, skiing, etc. Maybe you want to show off your team's colors or logo. Go with anything that is sports related.

Here's a card I made for Linda's challenge.

Stamps:  GKD "Enjoy the Sunshine" StampTV Kit
I used all scraps for this card
GKD Pure Luxury CS (White, Blue Raspberry and Key Lime)
Image was stamped with Vivid "Taupe"  then colored the rims of the rackets and ball with Copic Markers and highlighted with Stardust Glitter Pen
Sponging done with Memento Bahama Blue Dye Ink
Green Metalic dots are from Creative Inspirations

You're invited to come on over to the Outlawz Challenges this week and play along with the CAS challenge and pick other challenges - there's a new one for every day of the week and so many fabulous prizes to win too.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a crafty week!  If you'd like to sign up for my blogs to follow more challenges throughout the week, you can do that on the righthand sidebar.

DESIGNER'S CHOICE CHALLENGE AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hey there blog friends....

Do you like challenges????  If so, you'll find one every Wednesday at Repeat Impressions' The House That Stamps Built.  Every other Wednesday it will be a Designer's Choice Challenge aka DCC.  It's an opportunity for you to be challenged by one of the Rock Stars.

This week it's Deonna's challenge and she is challenge us to create a card or project with no squares (lol...in the 60's I used to think my parents were "squares"!)

Get on over to The House That Stamps Built and play along with Deonna's fun challenge.  Link your creation up and you'll be entered to win a $25.00 gift certificate (stamps of your choice) for some awesome RI stamps.  If you use RI stamps in your project, you'll be entered TWICE in the challenge.

We hope you'll come on over and play along....don't be a square!  LOL...sorry..had to say it!

Stamps Used:  #2704-H "Sailboat"  #3918-F "Wind in my Sails"

My image was to create an image as if you were (point of interest) peering through an old navigational looking glass, the kind you put up to your eye and then "telescope" for further images at night upon a dark ocean.

Great challenge, Deonna!

Thanks so much for visiting...I hope you'll check out my Rock Star Teamies for more inspiration.

CAS Challenge at Outlawz

Hello again, blog friends,

There's a great CAS challenge at Outlawz this week and we hope you'll get a chance to play along.  Pryn is challenging us to lift someone's spirits with a card this week and here is her challenge:

"You Are My Sunshine" Challenge- Sometimes we all need a little ray of hope to get through our day. This week's challenge is to create a CAS card or project to lift someone's spirits.

The Outlawz CAS DT has an incredible lineup of inspiration and I hope you can take a moment to get over there and leave them a high-five and play along with Pryn's challenge.

Here's my card

This was one of those badda bing, badda boom, cards.  One die, some scraps and one stamp.....and voila!!!  I'm hoping these bright colors are lifting your spirits and the card brings you a smile.

Stamped sentiment:  "Hello Sunshine" StampTV Kit GKD
Die:  MFT Cute Cameras

I used pop dots for three of the front cameras to pop them up from the line.  The polka dots came from those "lens" areas on the cameras...what fun!

Thank you so much for stopping by.
