HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
The other day, I received a blog post from Vicki Dutcher - blog friend and StampTV DT member - inviting us to join in on What If Wednesday blog challenge at Repeat Impressions (The House that Stamps Built). (Vicki is also a DT member for Repeat Impressions). The holiday rush was over, I love challenges and totally loved the sketch. So I thought I'd take Vicki up on her invite and play along. (Thanks for the invite, Vicki!)
While I have a few Repeat Impression stamps and used one in my card, you don't need to use their stamps to play along in this challenge.
Here's the sketch -
Looks like a fun one, doesn't it?
Here's my card for the challenge -
I bought this stamp a few years ago and it's been one of my favorites since then. I love coloring this image. The sentiment stamp is from a GKD set by Melanie Muenchinger called "Wild At Heart".
Other products I used were GDK Pure Luxury CS, Core'dinations papers, Spellbinders, Copic Markers and CuttlteBug EF.
Thanks for stopping by and for leaving all your supportive comments during this past year. I really appreciate each one of you and treasure the new friends I've made through our blogging.
Have a great weekend and I wish you all a VERY HAPPY, HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS 2012!

I purchased some fantastic stamps awhile back from Sharon Briss at Rouge Redhead Designs and I loved them. I haven't had much time to play until this week, but here's a card I created with Floriculture for the new challenge at Rouge Redhead called "Get Griddy".
Thanks so much for stopping by and please forgive any and all typos and mistakes.....I'm not complaining.....I have a new laptop, after all.....but getting used to a PC after using a MAC for so long is BIG learning curve for me. ACKKKK!
I hope youre all having a great week!!!
See you again soon!

I hope your holidays were full of joy. As we move into the next year, I hope you each have only good times, great health and lots of fun crafting.
As often is the case after the holidays, there's a need to send a few thank you notes for gifts and/or special moments shared. Over at Gingersnaps Creations my friend Penny Bennington has a challenge for thank you notes and I wanted to play along. The problem is, it's the last day of the challenge and I am just getting in under the wire.
I have created two different thank you notes using the same products and techniques. I like having a variety of thank you notes but I don't often have a lot of time to create them. So, this idea worked out very well for me.
The products:
CS: Gina K Design, Pure Luxury Ivory layer weight and base weight.
Stamps: SU (image) and GKD (sentiment)
Inks: DI TH Christmas Collection and Antique Linen.
Embossing was done with the CB Folder
Thank you for stopping by and thank you for all your kind comments throughout the past year.
