StampTV CSS November Inspiration Blog Hop

Hi blog friends!!

Welcome to the November blog hop of the StampTV Center Stage Spotlight Alumni Design Team.

If you've come here from the super talented Brenda's blog, then you're in the right place.  If not, and you'd like to see the entire hop, blog by blog, link back to The Beginning so you won't miss a single fabulous creation.

Our team member Kay Simmons gave us this great inspiration to create with

Here's my card inspired by Kay's photo

I was inspired by the textures and the warm brown colors.  For my card I used "Heartfelt" set by Theresa Momber.  (On of my very favorites).  My bg was created using a Sizzix ef and Tim Holtz Alterations Embossing Diffusers.  I used a masking technique to get the silhouette foliage in the bg, stamped and colored the pumpkins with Copic markers then fussy cut them and mounted them in front of the foliage with pop dots.  I also added a bow using Gina's recent video "Beautiful Bow" technqiue

I'm also sharing this card on Outlawz CAS "Thank You" Challenge this week.  Check it out for some great challenges and more chances to win great prizes.

Before I go, I'd like to thank all the Veterans of our military for your dedication and service to our country. It's a privilege to be living in freedom and I will never forget that you gave me this privilege. Please take a moment this weekend (or any time) and remember our Veterans and thank them.

Thanks for stopping by, now hop on over to another super talented lady, Geri's blog and see her fantastic inspiration piece.

Be sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (November 13), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps!

Designer's Choice Challenge at Repeat Impressions

Hi blog friends!!!

It's another Designer's Choice Challenge at The House That Stamps Built and that means you're invited to join the Rock Stars as our teamie, Geri Utterback challenges us to create a card with a "Thank You" theme.

There is always a reason to say "thank you" and Geri has picked a perfect challenge for us.

Link up your creation to The House That Stamps Built and you'll then be entered to win a $25.00 gift certificate for some fabulous RI stamps.  Please join us as we answer Geri's "Say Thank You" challenge.

This is my card

I used the sweetly simple sentiment stamp #8607-D
and stamped it in alternating Memento inks "Teal Zeal" and "Peanut Brittle".  The bg was created using Hero Arts/Sizzix stamp and embossing folder "Flourish".  I also used a Fiskars border punch and Viva pearl pens and a MS punch for the heart.

I'm so glad you stopped by.  Please visit my Rock Star Teamies for more fabulous inspiration.

Great challenge Geri....Thank You, for reminding us to be grateful!!!

STAMP OF THE WEEK AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hi blog friends,

It's Monday so it's time for Stamp of the Week at Repeat Impressions!!!

I hope you've been able to get over to "The House That Stamps Built" and grab these awesome stamps each week at the discount of 50% off, and make sure to check out all the great stamps while you're there....In my humble opinion, Wendy and Bill create some of the most fabulous rubber stamps available and you will never be disappointed with your purchase.

The stamp of the week this week is the sentiment stamp "For The Beauth" #3213-G

There are some folks I send Thankgsgiving cards to and I wanted to create a one layer CAS card (easy to mail) and this verse, and the image of stamp #5127-K "Maple Leaf Silhouette", made a lovely combination.

The leaves were stamped using a BIG and Juicy Foliage stamp pad and the sentiment was stamped using Memento "Espresso Truffle".  The pearl embellishments were made using Viva Pearl Pen "Gold".

Please take a peek at what my Rock Star Teamies have created for you using the Stamp of the Week!

On a personal note, I'd like to ask if you'd keep our Rock Star Teamie, Joy Hadden and her family in your thoughts and prayers, Joy lost her husband this past week.

Thank you for stopping by - I love reading your kind messages and hope that there is some creative inspiration for you in each of my posts.
