WHAT IF? WEDNESDAY AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Happy hump day, blog friends!  Hang in there...it's almost the weekend!

While we work our way toward the weekend, why not take some time and have some creative fun with a new WIW sketch from Wendy at Repeat Impressions and The House That Stamps Built?

Create a card using this sketch and enter it in the challenge at The House.  All the details can be found there.  You may just win some awesome stamps from Repeat Impressions.

It's almost Halloween, so I thought I'd scare you with a Boo!  Frightening isn't it?
For this card I used a combination of three stamps from RI #2322-G "Black Cat", RI #2316-G "Boo" and RI #2308 "Bats".  In addition, I sprinkled some orange sequins around for some embellishment.

Come on over and play along.  For more inspiration check out my Rock Star team mates.

CAS CHALLENGE AT OUTLAWZ - BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

Happy Sunday, blog friends!!!

You're invited to play along in another CAS challenge at Outlawz Challenges this week.  The super talented Lynn Cupido is hosting the challenge and here is her challenge

Cancer Awareness
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  We have all lost loved ones to cancer but there are many who have survived this dreaded disease.  This weeks' inspiration by the design team is dedicated to one of our very own members of the CAS group who loves pink pumpkins and to all the other cancer Survivors.

Your challenge is to create a CAS card or project for a Cancer survivor
For Lynn's challenge I made this card

I was inspired to create this card showing a pink pumpkin from a post by NanaConnie on the CAS Outlawz Challeng several weeks ago:
"A couple of years ago, my daughter found pink pumpkins for sale -- really pink, not painted or anything.  The lady who had grown them was selling them at Halloween and all the proceeds went to Breast Cancer Research (something near and dear to my heart since I am a BC survivor myself.)  That inspired the coloring on my image.  Next year. my daughter and I are going to grow pink pumpkins in honor of all the breast cancer survivors and do the same thing when we sell them -- proceeds to Breast Cancer Research".
Isn't this a great story!
Stamps:  Repeat Impressions #514-I "Prize Pumpkin" and the sentiment is from a GKD set "You Go Girl".  I've been taking the Jennifer McGuire's Online Copic Coloring class and a technique on day 10 of class, which was called "finishing touches" one of the amazing guest designers, Kathy Racoosin did a video on adding pen detail, so I had to try it.  I really loved how this turned out.

I'm entering this card in a new challenge site.  AAA Card Games "Autumn Colors"

Have a great week!  Thanks for stopping by!
