Black and White

Hello friends,  I'm doing well to get 2 posts up in one week.....I'm excited.

Here's a card I made for two challenges:  Tina Gilliand over at StampTV challenged us to a color challenge using black and white, and I also am entering it in the Speedy the Cat's Challenge #2 Mark's Finest Papers Blog .

I used GKD stamps "Vintage Backgrounds" by Nina Brackett and "Sew Pretty" by Asela Hopkins.  Papers are GKD Pure Luxury white, moonlit fog and black onyx.  Can you see the pieced "fabric" on the sewing machine?  The button is an antique that I had in an old button collection my grandmother gave me.  I just threaded a piece of the same ribbon through the button holes and tied it off.  3D Crystal Lacquer was used on the sewing machine to give it a high gloss and some dimension.  I rounded the corners with a corner rounder punch.
Thanks for stopping by!

A TISKET A TASKET - A TISKET A TASKET (a green and yellow basket)

Hello my friends,

Over at StampTV Gina an inspiration challenge tutorial to create a basket - what FUN this was.  Do take some time and check this out.

I used GKD Pure Luxury CS for this - Lemon Drop and Chocolate Kiss.  The DP is Basic Grey Origins.  You can get all the details over at my page on StampTV.

Here's the tutorial  I used for making these fantastic Tim Holtz Grunge Roses.  (I used cardstock).

Have a blessed day,

Cheri

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY - HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

A blessed day to each of you my friends! Thanks for stopping by. For all your Moms out there, I'll share the card I made for my Mom today.

I CASED this card from my friend (and very talented) Carla Suto's spectacular designs with this stamp.  CS:  GKD Pure Luxury White, Lemon Drop and Fresh Asparagus.  The Stamp set is GKD "A Beautiful Life" by Melanie Muenchinger.  I colored the tulips with copics then embellished with Stickles.  MS punch was used for accent.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Cheri
