Hi blog friends and followers!

I've been playing around with a couple of challenges this week - I don't get the chance to do that much any more.  But I just got some fabulous new stamps from LaLaLand Crafts and I love them!!!  I had to ink this one up and play along with the challenge on their blog called "Going Round in Circles".

I'm also entering my card in the challenge in the Touch Twin Color Challenge  using this color inspiration.  My coloring on this image is all done with Copic Markers, but I'm dying to try Touch Twin Markers.

Copics used:  Hair:  E25, E29 and E31 - Dress: R05, R01 and R000 - Skin tone:  R02, E21 and E00.

The image from LaLa Land Crafts is "Jesalyn".  Check out their fabulous images.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Good morning, blog friends and followers!

It's another What If? Wednesday sketch challenge at The House That Stamps Built.

Here's Wendy's sketch

Here's my card

I used the awesome Corvette image from "Big Boys Toys" stamp set #9119-K.  After stamping the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I  colored the image with Copics  in red.  Love red Corvettes!  The dp is from Authentic "Glory" 6x6 paper packs and the label frames and pennants are Spellbinder dies.

Please visit my Rock Star Teamies for even more inspiration for this sketch.

We hope you'll play along with us - just link up your post to the link provided at The House That Stamps Built.  I can't wait to see your take on Wendy's sketch.

Thank you so much for stopping by I always look forward to your visits.

Hi blog friends and followers!

Here it is Monday and once again it's time for the stamp of the week offer at The House That Stamps Built.

If you're not familiar with the SOTW from Repeat Impressions/The House That Stamps Built, it's an opportunity for you as a follower of their blog to purchase the featured stamp and add it to your collection for 50% off the retail price.  Wendy makes this offer EVERY Monday with a different stamp. So sit back and let Karen, Makiko, Patti and myself show you what we created with this week's featured stamp "Under the Sea" #2423-L.

After sponging the bg with DI and coloring the image with Copic Markers, using Spellbinder Classic Oval Dies, I cut a large oval out of mirror paper and a smaller oval of my image.  CS - GKD Pure Luxury white and "blue raspberry" layering weight. (which I ran through my embossing machine with an ef).  For accent, I placed the "net" ribbon behind the oval and then added the "silver nail" embellishments and added Stickles to the bubbles.  I chose not to add a greeting to the card yet, as I thought it could be used for many different occassions.

Take a look at what these Rock Stars have done for even more inspiration.

So happy you came by and I hope you'll come back.
