There's a new challenge over at StampTV called "Mix It Up Monday". This week the very talented Carolina Butching has challenged us to create something from this inspiration.
Look at all the creative possibilities here!!!
I love the flowers against the white on the plate and the bowl and I also loved the flower shaped bowl on the top left, so, I combined them and came up with my card.
I "framed" the focal flower with embossed circles cut with my Nestabilities and colored with Copic Markers. The stamp sets that created my card are Melanie Muenchinger's sets "Branching Out" (her newest set) and "A Year of Flowers". I used Gina K Design Pure Luxury White and Green Apple card stock for the base and layering. The little flowers were stamped with Memento Ink "Cantalope" and Vivid Ink "Tea Rose". I really like this color combination. The center for the daisy is an antique button from my stash.
Go on over to StampTV and play along. I'm sure you can come up with a fabulous project from Carolina's inspiration.
So glad you stopped by. Have a wonderful day!
