Designer Choice Challenge At Repeat Impressions

Hi blog friends,

Over at The House That Stamps Built, we're having a designer choice challenge.  Today it's Lynette's challenge and she has chosen a "Sympathy Card".  Not a pleasent occasion for sending a card, certainly -  yet, often a sad neccessity.

Please join us and create a sympathy card for Lynnette's challenge.  Simply go over to The House That Stamps Built Blog and get the details - link up your project and be entered to win some fabulous Rpeat Impressions stamps.

My card was made using the shadow technique with image #629 and #4025 for the sentiment.

Visit the other Rock Stars for some more inspiration using Repeat Impressions Stamps.

Gingersnaps Creations Supply Challenge

Hi Blogger Friends!

My second week at Gingersnaps Creations as Visiting Artist and having a blast!!!
This week the challenge is a supply challenge and we're being asked to use our border punches.  I dont know about you, but with all of my border dies, my punches often get left out.  It was fun to get them out and play with them.

I hope you'll drop by Gingersnapes Creations and play along with us!

The music sheet is a true vintage piece I purchased from the incredible etsy shop of Ali Manning she has some beautiful vintage products.

My punches were "Birds on a Wire" and I'm not sure what the other's name is called, but they are both from Martha Stewart.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you'll play along.

Wedding Anniversary Time

Hi Blog Friends,

I haven't posted in several days and I've missed being here.  My hubby has some medical issues we're trying to take care of - he will have surgery on Tuesday and hopefully his recovery will be short and all will be well with him soon.  We'd welcome prayers and good thoughts for him if you would.

That being said, we celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary yesterday - quietly.  He loves music (he plays many instruments including the piano) and dancing and often he and I will dance around our kitchen when we hear a good dance tune. (Our dog doesn't like us to dance though and will often get between us.)   When I saw this stamp set from My Favorite Things, I knew I had to have it so I could create an anniversary card for him.  It seemed so perfect for us!  He loved it!

Stamp - "May I have This Dance".  DP:  Glitz "Pretty In Pink".

Thanks for stopping by and for the warm comments you leave me!  I love reading them, as they always make my day!!!!
