DESIGNERS CHOICE CHALLENGE AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hello, blog friends!!! 

Repeat Impressions Rock Star teamie Brenda Turner is in the challenge seat this week and she has a super fun challenge...."Happy Fall Ya'll". 

Can you feel it??? Fall is in the air and for many folks it's their favorite time of year.  The fall colors, crisp air and wonderful smells of woodsmoke and apples floats in the air.

Here's my creation for the challenge

 

Stamps:  #1609-J "Winter Tree", #3306-I "Falling Leaves", #3415-I "Adirondack Chair" and #3013-F "Live For"
Technique:  Sponging.
Miscellaneous:  Copic Markers, Gimmer Mist, Dies from Impression Obsession.  Paper is Graphic 45 "French Country" 6x6 paper pak.

CAS CHALLENGE AT OUTLAWZ

Hi blog friends! 

It's time for another CAS challenge over at Outlawz (this time it's my turn to challenge you) and I you're invited to play along.

It's a September birthstone challenge.

"Sapphire, the September birthstone, has been popular since the Middle Ages and, according to folklore, will protect your loved ones from envy and harm. Medieval clergy wore sapphires to symbolize heaven, while commoners thought the gem attracted heavenly blessings". This challenge is to make a monochomatic card using Sapphire Blue as the dominate color....keeping it CAS.

This is a card I made for a little inspiration.

 

 

 

For this card I used only 3 dies, one embossing folder and some Copic Markers for coloring. 

Dies:  Memory Box "Joy" and "Country Landscape"

             Impression Obsession "DIE108-F". 

I colored the sledder in an ombre technique with Copic Markers. 

Embossing Folder is from Sizzix and it's "Falling Snow", (although I'm not sure that's it's name).

My card stock is from GKD "White" and "Blue Denim".
