Today it's Joy's designer's choice challenge for The House That Stamps Built and it's to use glitter. Easy, and approriate challenge, especially at this time of year when we're making lots of Christmas and holiday cards.
Before I get to my card for Joy's challenge, I want to welcome our newest Rock Star, Esther Asbury! I'm so happy to have you on the team Esther and looking forward to creating with you.
I want to bid a fond farwell to Patti J., an incredibly talented designer and one I'm thrilled to have shared places on this team with. Patti has been a major inspiration to me in so many ways and I'll miss her here.
This is my card for Joy's challenge. I kept it very CAS. It's difficult to see the glitter here, but the shepherd boy is painted with a gold Wink of Stella glitter pen. In real life it truly looks gorgeous. For additional glitter, I added some Stickles to the center of the stars which were from a sticker collection. This stamp RI#2008-K "Shepherd Boy" is a fabulous stamp and all you need to create a beautiful Christmas card. This sentiment paired perfectly with the shepherd boy stamp RI#2201-I "For Unto You".
Don't miss out on the 20 days of Christmas Sale-a-Bration going on now at the Repeat Impressions Facebook page where there will be a 20% off code for Repeat Impressions stamps each day. Check in daily and grab yourself some goodies!
For more inspiration for Joy's challenge this week, have a look at what my teamies have done.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you found some inspiration and that you'll come over to THE HOUSE and play along in our challenge. Details of how to play can be found there.

Very pretty - and I know IRL the shimmer has to be beautiful. Never colored with my shimmer pens, will have to try it.
Another beauty!!
I love the way you added glitter to your card for today's RI challenge. You showcased two of my favorite stamps so beautifully -- such an elegant looking card!
Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeutiful SS. Love the stamp and die cut you used and those itty bitty stars. I know how gorgeous this card would be IRL.
This is one of my favorite RI images! I'd never have thought to color him with a WOS pen! You are a true Rock Star - love this SO much, Cheri!!! Great job!
Love your CAS design for this challenge!
What a sweet image!
I love this sentiment and the image you have pair it with. Beautiful job on the challenge!
As a few of the other Rock Stars have mentioned, these are two of my favorite RI Christmas stamps and they work so perfectly together. Your gold makes this card so rich and the "frame" shape you used is a fun addition.
This is stunning in all gold Cheri, I will have to try this!
I really like the wonky edges of the framework for this image and using a WOS gold glitter pen to color the shepherd boy is genius! Very pretty card with the true meaning of Christmas! NJ!
