It's Wednesday and if you're a regular follower, you know each Wednesday, there's a new challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week it's a sketch challenge. Come on over and join the fun and get in a drawing to win some awesome Repeat Impressions stamps.
Wendy, owner and amazing artist of Repeat Impressions stamps, comes up with a sketch each month for us to play with and this month she came up with this
Here is my card using the sketch.
For this card I used three of the Repeat Impressions patriotic type stamps RI#1701-P "Bald Eagle" , RI#5104-C "Star Sil Sm." and RI#3711-G "God Bless America". I decided to keep this monochromatic and used kraft paper plain and embossed with gold embossing powder (although I don't think you can see that one strip very well in the bg).
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll join the challenge this week. For more inspiration, check out these awesome blogs

Lovely, Cheri and it is getting me in the mood for Memorial Dad and July 4th, too.
Wow SS this is fabulous. Love that background and the Eagle is awesome in flight. Love the colour choices you used and that yellow star that matches the little highlights on the Eagle - you ROCK!
Awesome take on the sketch, Cheri! I find patriotic cards a bit tough, but you have nailed this one sistah!!! Hugs...
I can see that the strip glitters! I love how yo have the eagle's wings outside the matting. Great job.
Great sketch. Thanks for sharing!
