FEBRUARY 2019 INSPIRATION CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hello house friends!!! 

Wendesday is challenge day at The House That Stamps Built and this Wednesday it's an inspiration board challenge.  

This is the card I created for the challenge using Repeat Impressions Stamps #2918-K "Kayaker" and #1105-E "Thinking of You".  I was inspired by the colors on the inspiration board.  

I water colored the background on watercolor paper then stamped the kayaker and used a alcohol ink marker to create a silhouette by filling in the open spaces with the marker.

FOREVER AND A DAY

Hello fans of TJS.....

I absolutely LOVE this stamp from Technique Junkies Stamps called "Friends Looking Out".   from the February Release.   I love it because it reminds me of the 1940's.  I'm old....I was born the last two years of that decade, yet, it's always engaged me.  Everything 1940's/1930's engages me.  Sooooo, when I saw this stamp in the TJ Store....I grabbed it.

The challenge this week is a Tic, Tac, Toe challenge.  Here is a card I created using the challenge board.  I used RI Stamps #1204-I "Love" , #101-P "Rose Heart Wreath" and the "You" is from the E9800 plate HAPPY.  

From the board I chose the first vertical group.  Love, Pink and White and Background Wash.  .

It's nearly Valentine's Day, a day for hearts and roses.  

I created this card using the beautiful stamp "Rose" designed by Jan from Mitten State Stamps for Technique Junkies.  I paired it with the lovely verse "Forever and a Day".  

I used Copic Markers to color the image and the background.
