JULY 2017 ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hello House friends....

We've got another anything goes challenge for you at The House That Stamps Built, so wind up your creativity and come on over and play along.

For this card I used RI#10506-J "Wavy Circle Frame" which I stamped 3 times in a brown dye ink.  I then built a floral arrangement around the two back ones with RI#10207-E "Flower Cluster Solid" and RI#10204-D "Leaf Cluster Solid".  The sentiment is from the RI #9800 "Happy Set".  I added some white NUVO Crystal Drops to the centers of the flowers and amazingly, while they dried, they absorbed the color of the Distress Oxide Inks I had stamped the flowers with.

Hello Junkies!  

There were so many fabulous stamps in the July Release and playing with them has been one of my guilty pleasures.  

For today's post I wanted to show you a technique called "Watered Dylusions Tutorial" from the Bodacious Background Stamps CD .  This technique plays with Dylusion sprays and I chose "Everything Dandelion" for the background stamp.  I did a little switch and added another over stamping of the bg stamp with white pigment ink and heat embossed it with white ep.  I also added some clear Nuvo Crystal Drops for additional texture and dimension.  The sentiment is from the "Sentimental Sayings" set.

JULY 2017 INSPIRATION CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Helloooo House friends!!!!  

It's inspiration challenge time at The House That Stamps Built, let's get playing....

My card uses RI#4111-F "Starfish (sm)", 2410-I "Conch Shell", 2418-E "Scallop Shell".  The sentiment is RI#2512-E "Just a Note" and I also used RI#2711-I "Cattails" for a bg element.  After sponging and masking with Distress Inks, I used a crackle stencil to add the depth of texture to the sky and the sand.  My white gel pen was used to add the "waves" on the beach and some highlights to the shells.

Hey there, Junkies!!! 

Just a quick post with a new card I made using one of the new stamps from the Technique Junkies July 2017 release.  

The face on this lady just explodes with happiness and I just had to give her some love.  The stamp is called "Joy and Laughter" and I colored it with my Chameleon Colortone pencils.  After coloring the image, I drew a border around the frame with the purple color of my Nuvo Northern Lights Glitter Markers.  The background was created with a stencil from my stash and sponging white pigment ink through it.  I paired the image with one of the sentiments from "Sentimental Sayings" that I heat embossed with white ep.
