A Fun Color Challenge

Hello, blogger buds!

There are few color combos that I love more than blue, yellow and white.  Those colors just say bright, loud and clear!

Recently, my cousin (an exceptionally talented craft lady) made an afghan for my mother (who many of you may know is an Alzheimer's disease victim), with these colors.  Look at this....

In addition to the gorgeous afghan, she made her a sweet cloche hat.

Over at StampTV there is a color challenge using these colors....

I didn't have a specific recipient in mind when I made my card, yet, many times lately, I've had a reason to congratulate someone and wished I had a card ready to give them....now I do!

The button I used is from a collection of old buttons I got from my mother's home when we were cleaning it out....It fit this card so well I knew I just had to use it.

Details:  CS Gina K Designs Pure Luxury White, Navy and Wild Dandelion.  The Navy layer is embossed with CuttleBug Folder "Swiss Dots".
Stamps:  Lovely Labels 2, Illustrated by Nina Brackett.
Nestabilities Labels Fifteen.  The bottom label is embossed with a CuttleBug Folder  (sorry, I forgot the name of it)
Inks:  Vivid "Straw" and Memento "Danube Blue"  Little seed pearls were added to the flourish for some dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Enjoy your day!

How sweet and sentimental! I did not know about your mom but now I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers. This card is lovely, Cheri.

Cheri Things belonging to family are precious. I have a few hand made items my sister made with parts of my Mum's material and my grandmothers crochet. They are so special and think of them every time I use them. I know how special this lovely card will be for you. Hugs Ina
