WHAT IF? WEDNESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hey there, blog friends!!!  Got snow?????

There's plenty of snow here in Maine....we got slammed by the big snow storm of 2015...over 2 feet of snow and there's more predicted this coming week into the weekend!  It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't so dang cold out to boot.

Okay....enough about the awful weather in Maine...let's get to crafting and the WIW sketch challege at The House That Stamps Built.  It's another fun one.

I took some creative liberty with this sketch, not a lot, just a tad.  I did some heat embossing on kraft cs with white ink and white embossing powerder.  This card has a masculine feel to it and although I didn't start out making a guy card, it's how it ended up.  Often my creations take on a life of their own right in front of me.  Does that ever happen to you?  Kinda fun, huh?

The Repeat Impression stamps I used for this card are RI#1609-J "Winter Tree"  and RI#1112-E "Just a Note".

Thanks so much for stopping by.  For more inspiration for this sketch, check out the other Rock Stars.  Then come on over to The House, get the challenge details and join in.  We'd love to see you and your creations there.

OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES NEW CAS CHALLENGE ANYTHING GOES

Happy Sunday, blog friends!

We're in for a really big snow storm tonight and into tomorrow...ending on Tuesday...over a foot to possibly two feet of snow headed our way!  Good time to tuck myself away into my craft room and play!  :)

There's a new clean and simple challenge at Outlawz Challenges and it's an easy one..."anything goes".  Come on over and join the group and the challenge.

Here's a card I created for the challenge

The challenge this week is hosted by Charlene Mitchell who is leaving us.  This is her last challenge and we will certainly miss her sunny personality in our forum and in our challenges.

The stamp is from Penny Black "Love Sign" which I colored with Copic Markers.  The plaid paper behind the image is from Papertrey Ink.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a fabulous week!
