STAMP OF THE WEEK AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hi blog friends!!!

It's Monday and time for a Stamp of the Week offer at Repeat Imperssions/The House That Stamps Built and that means the featured stamp will be available for 50% off the retail price.  Woohoo!!!!  Who can't use a deal on some great stamps from RI???

Today's featured stamp is one of Wendy's great vertical image stamps called Wings Negative #5901-M.  These vertical stamps are so much fun to create with and can easily deliver a stunning card.

For this card, I first stamped the image with black VersaFine ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Then I sponged Memento inks "Lulu Lavendar", "Bahama Blue" and "Blue Sky" .  The ep created a resist on the image, yet allowed the color to set the bg.

Two panels of cs were cut with Spellbinder deckled dies to form the cs layers and on the edge of the white panel I stamped RI Stamp #6103-J for a sentiment.

I don't know what got into me, but while digging around in my supplies I found some abandoned Glimmer mists and decided to spritz them on my image and the cs layered bg, creating a "luminous" look to it.  It's as if once I got started I had to control the urge to keep spraying the papers....I was having so much fun!   I then "framed" the image with some scraps that were left from my trimming and I arranged them to look as though looking through a prisim.  The metal embellishments are from Creative Inspiration Jeweled and Metallic embellishments.   Once the focal image was done, I then layered it on a embossed piece of PTI CS "Spring Rain" using Sizzix EF for SU and then on another layer of GKD cs "Blue Denim" for just a tiny edge of dark.  Finally it was all adhered to a base card from the PTI CS "Spring Rain".

There are a lot of layers on this card which is unusual for me, but I liked the results and I love that stamp.

Get on over to Repeat Impressions and grab this awesome stamp and while you're there, check out all the fantastic vertical stamps they offer.  You will love having it in your collection.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
