YOU'RE INVITED TO CLASS

Hi blog friends,

I'm teaching a class at "Your Maine Stamper" a local stamp store today, April 13, from 10 a.m - 12 p.m., featuring LaBlanche vintage stamps and Distress Inks.   If you're in the area, stop by....the class is full (it filled up within a few days).  We'll be doing these two images and learning some fabulous new techniques with Distress Inks.

Here are the 2 cards the class will be doing

This technique can be applied to any stamp and it will look stunning....I used the same technique to "paint" the tulips and vase on this Repeat Impressions Stamp.  You can click on these images and bring up a closer view of the effect.

DESIGNER'S CHOICE CHALLENGE AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hi blog friends!!!

It's Designer's Choice Challenge at Repeat Impressions and The House That Stamps Built and today it's Rock Star Christy Schumacher's turn to challenge us and her challenge is to create a Clean and Simple (CAS) card.

We hope you'll join Christy and the RI Rock Stars and create a CAS card for this challenge.  Link your card to The House That Stamps Built and you'll be entered to win a $25.00 gift certificate for some fabulous RI stamps.  You don't have to use RI stamps in your project, but if you do, you'll be entered TWICE in the drawing.

So, come on over and play along with Christy's challenge.

Here's my card

This card was created using stamp #904-L Daffodils and for the sentiment I used #3910-G.  The images were colored with Copic Markers.

All the Rock Stars hope you'll find some fun time and play along with Christy's challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

STAMPTV CSS SKETCH BLOG HOP

Welcome to this months StampTV CSS group blog hop challenge.  This time it's a sketch hop and the sketch was created by the super talented BrendaTurner.

If you came here from the very talented Geri's blog, you're in the right place.  If not, you'll want to link back to the beginning so you don't miss one inspiring moment.

And guess what?  Make sure to leave a comment as you go along because we will choose a random comment and that stamper will win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! Look for the announcement on Tuesday, April 16."

Also, you're invited to join our challenge and create a card using Brenda's sketch.  Just link your card to the thread on the forum.

Here's what I created

The GKD stamp set used for my card was "Warm With Love" by Theresa Momber.  I love this set for it's bold images.  At first I thought I would color the bg of this image, but then, I really liked the stark white of the bg and the way it pops from the paper.

Now hop on over to the sketch artist of our hop, Brenda's blog, and see her awesome card.

Thanks for coming by,

CLEAN AND SIMPLE AT OUTLAWZ

It's spring.....and that means the peepers will be coming out.  Peepers (for those who don't know) are tiny frogs who come out singing the minute spring is truly sprung.  I love to hear them "singing" in the spring evenings.   It's a true sign of spring.

It's my turn to post a challenge at Outlawz and my challenge is all about frogs!

Here it is:   "Who, who, who Let the Frogs Out?" Fun with the frogs....it's National Frog Month (Really, I looked it up)...let's celebrate those beneficial amphibians and give them some CAS card space.

Come on over and play along with us - there are some fabuous prizes to win.  Here's my card:

The stamps used for this card came from Repeat Impressions
