STAMP TV CSS ALUMNI JULY BLOG HOP

Welcome to the July StampTV CSS alumi blog hop -  we're so happy that you've joined us.

This month we're creating cards based on a sketch by our own Melissa Cash and we'd love it if you would play along with us.
All you have to do is create your card and link it up at the blog hop on the StampTV forum. It's also the starting place for our hop, so start here and catch every awesome inspiration from our team.

If you came here from the incredibly talented and creative Brenda's blog, then you're in the right place.  If not, link back to the beginning.  You don't want to miss one fantastic inspiration by this super talented group.  Also,  Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (July 17), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps!  Woohoo!!!! Who wouldn't want that?

Here's Melissa's fantastic sketch

and here's my card using Melissa's sketch

My card was made using Gina K Pure Luxury White and Dandelion CS.  The bg dp, bglayer and stamps are from the new StampTV Kit "Hello Sunshine".   Copic Markers were used to color the flip flops and Stickles were used to add bling.  The sentiment banner was created using the sunburst stamp included in the stamp kit with Memento "Dandelion" ink.  The bg dies are from Spellbinder Nestabilities - "Square Swatches" and "Classic Squares Large".

Thank you for stopping by - now please visit the incredibly talented Geri for even more inspiration.

This card is also being entered in  Oozak Blog Challenge Bright Colors.

WHAT IF? WEDNESDAY at REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Welcome to What If? Wednesday at The House That Stamps Built!!!
Are you ready for some great inspiration for this fabulous sketch from a fabulous DT?

You know you're going to have some fun with this sketch.  I can't wait to see what you create.
Here's my card - I flipped it a bit and would love to know what you think of it.

The images for my card is RI stamps "Summer Clothesline" #9017-W and "Grass Border" #1507-J and the sentiment is "Flutter By" #9005-E.  After sponging the bg with Memento inks "Summer Sky", "Bahama Blue", "Bamboo Leaves" and "Pear Tart" I stamped the clothes line image and colored it with Copic Markers.  The grass border was stamped twice in Memento "Cottage Ivy" and again with "Bamboo Leaves".  The sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and sponged with Memento "Dandelion".  I used Stickles on the tiny flower and the MS punched butterfly.

All my Rock Stars teamies are here with some great inspiration hoping you'll play along with What If? Wednesday Sketch Challenge at The House That Stamps Built!

One final note - if you're reading this locally and are within driving distance to "Your Maine Stamper" in Winthrop, Maine - stop by on Saturday, July 14, from 1-3 p.m. and say hello.  I'll be there doing a FREE make and take debuting Repeat Impression "Beautiful Days" stamps for their customers.

Dragonfly Deco #4405-K.

Here's my card using this fabulous stamp

I love dragonflies.  They eat other nasty bugs and I love it when I see these guys flying about in our backyard....it means we can sit out on our deck without the worry of annoying bugs around.  They really scoop them up.

Please visit my teamies to see more inspiration using this fantastic stamp.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you all have a fabulous week.

Christmas In July at Outlawz

Hi blog friends!

What a fantastic 2 weeks it's been at Outlawz and our "Where in the World" celebration!  I really hope you had an opportunity to join in on some of the fabulous games and challenges.  Good luck on being a winner if you did!!!  Winners will be announced Wednesday, July 11 at the Outlawz.  It was such fun to see all the CAS challenge creations, and I'm glad it's a random drawing, because who could choose from all of the fabulous entries?

Today my post is for week two in Outlawz July CAS challenge- "Christmas in July".  I know many other challenge sites have the same theme going on, however the Outlawz CAS DT is adding a tiny addition....your card must be inspired by a Christmas or holiday song. Here are the specifics...While the weather outside is not so frightful, we challenge you to put on your favorite holiday carol/song, or wintery song, and use it as inspiration for your CAS project this week. Please include what song inspired you :) Remember, this song can be used to inspire you in ANY way...even it is not a Christmas/Winter Holiday card.

My card was inspired by the song, "I'll Be Home For Christmas".  I get so emotional whenever I hear it.  Aside from Christmas carols, this is the Christmas song my mother loves most.  (Being that she's of the "Greatest Generation" and this was a WWII song what it means to her goes without saying).

I paper pieced the heart balloon from "Big Boys Toys" by RI with scrap pieces from Authentique "Glory" dp.  The sentiment is also from RI -  #3703 and today, last day, it's available for 50% off for RI blog members.  Every Monday there's a stamp offered to blog members for 50% off.  The bg is PTI "Spring Rain" CS die cut (negatives) with Memory Box cloud dies.  The base CS is GKD Pure Luxury White and Black Onyx.  The "ribbon" is a piece of Trendy Tape that I adhered to CS and cut.  The USA also came from a scrap piece of Authentique "Glory" paper.

Can't wait to see what Christmas/Holiday song inspires your CAS card.  Good luck and have fun!  See you at Outlawz!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
