JUNE 2018 INSPIRATION CHALLENGE FOR THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hi there house friends!!!

We're having an inspiration challenge for you this week at The House That Stamps Built and it's a beautiful palette to work from.  Here's a card I created using the inspiration.  I drew from the colors and the floras.

A few years ago, I won a set of Tim Holtz Embossing Diffusers and I rarely use them.  I was going through my embossing folders the other day and "found" them and decided to use them for this card.  I stamped RI#1709-I "Stencil Bouquet" with Memento Bamboo Ink and colored it with Copic Markers.  I added the sentiment (partial) RI#9717-C "Happy Hello", then embossed it with the round diffuser plate and an embossing folder.  To finish it off, I added some clear sequins and mounted it to a colored layer and then a base layer.

We hope you'll come over to THE HOUSE and check out the details on how to enter the challenge and then join in.  There's a big drawing at the end of the month for a $25.00 GC for some Repeat Impression Stamps.  You just might win this awesome prize.

Thank you for stopping by.

How about more creative ideas using this inspiration?  Check out my talented Rock Star team mates.

YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE

Hello my blog friends....

I'm showing off two fabulous new stamp sets from Technique Junkies Stamps today...I love these two sets together "Sunflower Duo" and "Sunflower Sentiments" and you can get them both as well as any and all other Technique Junkies Stamps you might like with a 10% discount if you use my discount code of TJ10CHERI.  Go shopping and enjoy the discount on your entire purchase.

Creating this card was so easy....and who doesn't love that?  The sunflower was stamped with VersaMark embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I then sponged Distress Inks in and around the image to color it.  After stamping the sentiment I die cut the sunflower panel with a stitched rectangle die and mounted it against a gingham paper and then mounted it all on a white card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you found some inspiration while you were here.

Please visit and join the Technique Junkies FaceBook Page and show off your creations using Technique Junkies Stamps.  It's a great place to inspire and be inspired.
