Welcome! It's the first blog hop for the StampTV Center Stage Spotlight Design Team of February 2011 and I absolutely LOVE the inspirational photo we've been given for this hop. It's from Southern Living Magazine and suggested by our own Miesje Flach. Good eye, Miesje.
If you came from the VERY TALENTED Carolina's blog then you're in the right place. If you didn't, we invite you to go back to the beginning and enjoy each and every blog for the full impact of what this talented group has to offer.
And when you're done hoping, we invite you to join us - create your own project, inspired by this photo, and upload it to the StampTV forum link. We LOVE it when StampTV members join us on these hops.
Would you look at the color, detail and dimension in this photo? I am going to play with this inspiration photo a lot more, but for this hop, I made this card as my interpretation of the inspiration.
Details: CS: GKD PL Ivory, Lipstick Red and Chocolate Brown. Cuttlebug "Branches" folder was used for the textured background. Stamp set: Sentiment is from "Arranged with Love", by Melanie Muenchinger . DP: Basic Grey Curio. Flourishes were cut using a Tim Holtz Alterations Dye. Spellbinders Nestabilities and MS butterfly punch. Stickles and Pearls were used for detail.
Now, hop on over to the very talented Deb Felt's blog and check out her fantastic creation.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I would love it if you left me a comment.
Have a great weekend!
Cheri
