WEEKLY CAS CHALLENGE AT OUTLAWZ

Happy Sunday, blog friends!!!

There's a new challenge over at Outlawz Challenges and today's challenge is from Linda Anderson.  Here it is.

"It Was All Started by a Mouse" - This is part of a quote by Walt Disney. I have a quick trip to Disney World planned for this week with my son...I'm so excited!!! So of course, this challenge is dedicated to the man himself, Mickey Mouse. This week's challenge is to create a CAS card using a mouse. Any theme will do, as long as there's a mouse.

It's a fun challenge, so I hope you'll have an opportunity to play along.  There are challenges for every day of the week at Outlawz Challenges which is a free membership site and there are tons of prizes to be won each and every week.
Stamps:  Repeat Impressions #910-E "Mouse and Cheese" and for the sentiment I used a PTI set "Handwritten Notes".
Papers:  GKD Pure Luxury "White", "Black Onyx", "Red Hot" and "Sweet Corn".
To make the "cheese", I took scraps of the "Sweet Corn" cs and using my "Crop a Dile", I made random holes.  I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark and then heat embossed it wth white ep so it would pop off the page.  Copic Markers were used for coloring the mouse and cheese.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
I hope you all have a fabulous week ahead and if you celebrate Thanksgiving, have a happy Thanksgiving Day.

Very pretty card, Cheri. One of my dear friends lives near there and goes often with her grandchildren! Lucky, huh? Have a wonderful time.
Would you believe we got our first dusting of snow this morning? Yes, the snow plow/salt truck, just drove by my house!

Cheri, love your card and the idea of a challenge using a mouse, I just might try to join the challenge after Thanksgiving if it's still on. I can see why you would be thinking Mickey Mouse, what with your trip coming up. For me I am thinking "Twas the night before Christmas" with the little mouse. Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving Holiday.
