MARCH 2019 DESIGNER'S CHOICE CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hello House Fans!!! 

It's the first Wednesday of a new month and that means it's a Designer's Choice Challenge at The House That Stamps Built.  

This month, the very talented Joy Hadden is our challenge host and she has selected Spring/Easter.  

My card for Joy's challenge uses Repeat Impressions Stamps #702-K "Clover Bunny" and RI# 3909-F "Happy Easter/Spring".    I used Copic Markers to color the bunny image.  The tiny "petals" around the bunny were the centers of the bow die I used over the plaid scrap at the top edge.  I also scattered a few tiny drops of Viva glue pen in light pink for a little more dimension.

SWEET AND FRAGRANT DOGWOOD

Here is a card I created using the new stamp "Dogwood Background"  designed by Janine Tinklenberg of Mitten State Stamps.   

I stamped the image with a light gray ink and used PrismaColor Pencils to color it.  I added acrylic paint splatters and a few clear dew drops around the image.  The sentiment is from the set "Sentimental Sayings".

FEBRUARY 2019 ATG CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hello House Friends!!!! 

Here we are at the final Wednesday for the month of February....that just flew by....and it's the all time favorite challenge Anything Goes!!!! 

We hope to see you over at The House That Stamps Built playing along with us; it's such a fun challenge.  You can still play along with any or all of the challenges this month, just get them loaded into the corresponding monthly posts  (Designer's Choice Challenge, Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge, Inpiration Challenge and now the Anything Goes Challenge).

Here's a card I made for the challenge to help inspire you.  

I think I was channeling my friend Vicki Dutcher.  Vicki uses bright colors so well and without any conscience effort on my part, boom....this appeared on my work area.  LOL.  

I used RI Stamps #6220-L "Comfy Cat" , RI# 3412-C "Gulls in Flight" and #2407-G "Life's a Beach".  

The background was masked and sponged using a variety of Distress Inks.  The comfy cat was stamped separately, colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut, then adhered to the background panel.  Both were then framed with a die cut frame.  

My team mates have some "blow you away" creations to show you.
