CAS Making Music at Outlawz

Hi blog friends....

For all you CAS bloggers, there's a new CAS challenge posted at Outlawz, with some fantastic prizes to win.  Head on over and post your CAS cards with a music theme.

It's my turn to challenge and here it is:
"Let's Make Music Together"....Music makes the world go 'round and it's been said is the "universal language". I think it's safe to say, we all love some form of music whether its a song, a melody, a genre of music, or songs of nature (birds). Let's release some music this week. Create a CAS card that shows something that depicts music. (Think musical notes, instruments or creatures of song)

Here's my creation for the challenge

This card uses M-Bossibilities, Memory Box dies and a stamp from SmartARTworks.

Keep a song in your heart and thanks for stopping by.  I hope you'll play along with the CAS challenge at Outlawz.

Designer's Choice Challege at Repeat Impressions

Happy New Year, blog friends!
I wish you all good health and great happiness in 2013!

It's time for another designer's choice challenge at Repeat Impressions/The House That Stamps Built and this time it's Joy's turn and she has challenged us to create a card showing snow.   This past week, we had a big nor'easter that dumped over a foot of fresh snow on us so it was easy to get in the mood to create a "snow" card.

Lots of sledding going on these days with school out and all this fresh snow on the ground.  I couldn't resist using this stamp #2104-H "Boy with Sled".  I also used last week's What If? Wednesday's D2612 sketch for the bg.  I'm getting a lot of milage out of the sentiment stamps #4306-F "Got Snow".

Please join me and my Rock Star Teamies in Joy's challenge this week.  After posting your card to your blog, link it up with the link at The House for a chance to win $25.00 worth of Repeat Impression Stamps.  If you use Repeat Impression stamps, you'll be entered twice.  So, come on over and play along and have some fun with us.

Also, there's still time to play along with the WIW Sketch - We will be accepting submissions to this D2612 Sketch Challenge until 5pm EST on January 8th. All participants will be automatically entered into our random drawing. Then on January 9th we will post a new challenge. Once we start our February challenges we’ll announce the winner for January. One lucky person will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!

Also, Repeat Impressions has a Rock Star position opening up on our Design Team! Are you addicted to stamping? Love to make cards as often as possible? Have a blog to show off all your wonderful creations? Do you enjoy a challenge and play well with others? You could be a Rock Star in the making! Please drop Wendy a note at wendy@repeatimpressions.com if you would like more information.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  We can't wait to see what you will create using Joy's challenge or our WIW sketch challenge!  Have Fun!

What If? Wednesday at Repeat Impressions

Hello blog friends!!!!

It's What If? Wednesday time at Repeat Impressions and that means another fun sketch to play with.

I hope you'll all join us in this challenge at The House That Stamps Built.  Just link up your post and you'll be entered to win a $25.00 gift certificate for some fabulous Repeat Impressions stamps.

This card was made using RI stamps #4603-F "Got Snow" sentiment and #8917-I "Snowflake Outline".  I'm still making Christmas cards, trying to use up some papers and odds and ends.  This is a great sketch for doing that.

Thank you for stopping by and you may want to stop by my Rock Star Teamies for more inspiration using this sketch.
