WHAT IF? WEDNESDAY INSPIRATION CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hello and happy Wednesday!!!

We've got an inspiration challenge for you at The House That Stamps Built this week and it's an easy one....you'll like it!!!

Oh, the awesome daffodils!  How I love to see them each spring....it means summer and sunshine will follow.

My gardens are full of daffodils and they are in full bloom right now....much like this inspiration photo.

The daffodils inspired me, yet, more so, the green and yellow color.  What a pick-me-up color combo this is.

I used RI Stamps #904-L "Daffodils" and they were cholored with Copic Markers.  I also used "Flip Stitch Die Set" to create my tiny side panels.  I left the card without a sentiment so I could use it for any occasion when needed.  Also used in this card are two dies from Pretty Pink Posh "Stitched Borders 2" and "Twine and Bows" as well as We R Memory Keepers next level embossing folder "Woven".

Come on over and play along with our challenge.  You'll be inspired even more after checking out the awesome cards my Rock Star Team Mates have created.

Join in on the challenge and you'll be entered in a drawing for a $25.00 gift certificate for some awesome Repeat Impressions Stamps.  For all the details check them out at THE HOUSE.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  And if you'd like a little enabling, take this code (rr10cw) for 10% off your entire order at Repeat Impressions.

WHAT IF? WEDNESDAY DESIGNER'S CHOICE CHALLENGE

Happy Wednesday, blog friends!

I'm hosting the Designer's Choice Challenge at The House That Stamps Built this week and I'm calling it "Who Let the Dogs Out".

I'm a dog lover and I know a lot of other people are too, so I hope you'll join in and play along.

I used 4 different RI Dog stamps #8106-L "Bulldog", 8106-I "Waggin Pup", #8109-L "Poodle" and 8120-K "Scruffy Puppy", and a masking technique to create this card.  Also included for the scene are RI Stamps #1507-J "Grass Border"  and  the sentiment is RI#9717-C "Happy Hello".  The pups were all colored with Copic Markers after first sponging a Distressed Ink background.

I smiled the entire time I was creating the card.  These guys just make me happy. Alone or in a group they can make someone's day perk up.

I hope you'll join in the challenge and show us your doggy creations.  All the details for entering can be found at THE HOUSE as well as what you could win if you do. (How about $25.00 worth of RI Stamps of your choice?)

And for a little enabling, check out the discount Code on my sidebar for a fun shopping discount from Repeat Impressions.  (Use Code  rr10cw and you'll get 10% off your entire order).

WHAT IF? WEDNESDAY COLOR CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hi there, blog friends!!!!

Oh, how I love color challenges and I'm doing a happy dance today because it's the challenge this week at The House!!!

At first sight, this color combination rattled me (okay...I'm blonde...LOTS of things rattle me!) I did all sorts of searches on the Internet and found tons and tons of inspiration and that was a portion of what I was looking for.  However, my complete inspiration came when I found this technique posted by Jennifer McGuire.

I used Jennifer's Distress Ink technique instead of Copics for this image.  I wanted more of a deeper blending.  The stamps uses were RI# 4321-J "Swan Love" and #1211-J "So Faith".

You will love what the other Rock Stars have done with this color challenge.  Take a peak ....

                          Deonna   Heather  -  Joy  -  Kathy  -  Patti J  -  Shirley

I hope you'll come over and join in on the challenge.  The best part is you'll be entered in a drawing for $25.00 worth of Repeat Impressions Stamps.  The challenge details and how to enter are all found at The House.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'd love to hear what you think of my card.

ANYTHING GOES AT THE HOUSE

Hello blog friends!  I hope you all had a wonderful Easter.

This week the Rock Stars say good-bye to one of our long time team mates, Karen Hashek.  Karen will be so missed in this group.  On a personal level, she's been an anchor and tireless inspiration.  All the best to you Karen.

It's Wednesday and time for another challenge at The House.  The month of March offers a 5th Wednesday and at The House That Stamps Built that means the challenge is "anything goes".

For my card I used Repeat Impression stamps #1216-O "Ruffled Border" and #1208-H "Who Loves Ya".

Check out my incredible team mates...they will rock your socks with this challenge.  And don't forget to join the challenge.  The details can be found at The House.

SKETCH CHALLENGE FROM THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Happy Wednesday, blog friends!

Spring is finally here...or so the calendar says...but here in Maine we had another snowstorm the day after the official first day of spring, leaving 6 inches of fresh snow.  The landscape is pretty all covered in white, however....my daffodils were coming up and I was looking forward to the closing of mud season.  We're now back to mud season.  Ugh!

The bright side is there's a sketch challenge over at The House and we hope you'll join in and play along.

My card uses RI stamps #1318-P "Cottontail Rabbit" and #1302-F "Some Bunny".

Enjoy viewing these blogs and creations from my team mates with this sketch then get on over to The House, get the details and play along with this fun sketch.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful Easter.
