INSPIRATION PHOTO CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hello there...

We've got a new photo inspiration at The House That Stamps Built this week.

All I could think of, when I saw this image, was settling down in this cozy cabin, next to a nice fire with a class of wine, as I watched the snow falling on the forest outside the window.  So, you won't be surprised by my card....who wants to join me????  Oh, okay....the colors inspired me too.

My card uses RI stamps #2709-I "Large Pine Forest", #9503-L "Wine Glass" and 9510-E "Wine Down".  The trees were stamped on vellum with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I colored the base with a dark blue Copic Marker and adhered it to a light blue card stock scrap piece that replicated the blue of the ski .  I used a Spellbinder classic circle die to cut the vellum and the blue card stock and adhered them together.  I also used the same die and a larger one of the same set to cut a "frame" in dark brown for the blue circle layer.

The wine glass was stamped with Grey Flannel Momento ink and then colored with Copic markers on white card stock.  I fussy cut the glass so that I could place it in front of the "window".  The sentiment was stamped with "Potting Soil" colored Archival Ink.  The images were layered on a natural card stock layer and then layered on a white base.

I hope you'll join our challenge and play along.  You can't miss these blogs of my team mates....they are so talented and have so much to show you.
