NEVER STOP MAKING WISHES

Hi there Technique Junkies Stamps fans!!!

I have a fun and easy card to show you today.  I am having such a great time playing with the new TJ Shimmer Bliss Sprays that I had to show you this card I created using them in a different way.

Just a note:  The sprays and any Technique Junkies Stamps are available to you with a 10% discount with my coupon code TJ10Cheri.

Using Thulian Pink color of Shimmer Bliss, I sprayed it onto my craft mat and took a wet paint brush and applied it to an 80# card stock layer toward the center area.  I was careful not to use too much wet so as not to break down the paper.

Using Mardi Gras Purple, Vivid Volt, Festive Flamingo and a tiny bit of Imperial Yellow, I stippled each color around the area of the center water colored area.  For a little extra color dimension I held the spray tubes (from inside the bottles) over the panel and let the colors drop.

Once dry, I prepped the panel with a embossing buddy and using my MISTI I stamped "Never Stop Making Wishes" stamp from the new August 2018 Release with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I did not remove the stamp from the MISTI, so I replaced the panel and reinked the stamp with a dark purple dye ink and moved the panel just a tiny bit and stamped the image again, giving it a "shadow".  The white ep, worked as a release and I simply wiped away the purple ink from the white stamped image.

The window effect was created using an older Spellbinder square dies.  The "frame" was popped up a bit using mounting tape and the cut piece was placed inside the frame.

These sprays are truly wonderful to use.  I'll be showing off more fun projects in future blog posts.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget your coupon if you're going shopping in the Technique Junkies Store.

I know I left a comment on FB but I had to leave you another compliment on your blog. This card knocks my socks off. It is so, so beautiful. The rich colours, the dandilions, the frame, all look terrific.
