AUGUST 2018 DESIGNER'S CHOICE CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hello House Friends!!!!

We've been given a challenge by our talented team mate Joy for a designer's choice challenge at The House That Stamps Built.  Her challenge?  "Circles"....that's it, circles!!!  You can do this!!!!

I wanted to try something different for Joy's challenge.  I have seen some stamp collages on Pinterest and I thought I might like to try my hand at it using "found items" around my house as well as these fabulous Repeat Impression Stamps:  RI#5016-N "Genealogy", 5812-I "Compass", 2704-H "Sailboat", 3918-F "Wind In My Sails" and 3404-C "Random Dots".

The colored images were colored with my Polychromo pencils and blended with Gamsol. The additional circles were created using tops or bottoms of bottles I had on my desk.  The colored circle inside the upper circle is actually a tiny wood circle I colored with ink....it looks like a piece of fuzz in this photo....note to self, I need a better camera.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll take a few minutes and visit the blogs of my team mates....they are incredibly talented artists of stamps.

Join Joy's Circle challenge (and all other challenges this month - we have a new challenge every Wednesday) and enter yourself in the drawing at the end of the month for a $25.00 gift certificate for your own collection of Repeat Impression Stamps.    All the details can be found at THE HOUSE.
