MERRY CHRISTMAS PAINT RINGS

Hi there Junkie friends!

I am catching up on some posts.  I missed participating in last week's new release (November Stamps) blog hop for Technique Junkies Stamps.  In case you haven't heard about the horrific wind storm that hit this area of Maine last weekend, the coast of Maine and much of Central Maine have been without power for several days.  As I write this, there are still areas without power.

One of the cards I created for the hop uses the stamp set "Paint Rings"  from the November release and "Merry Christmas 2" .

Using a white cs panel, I stamped the image twice using my MISTI stamp positioner, moving the image about 1/8 inch each time.  First stamping was done with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with white ep, Moving the stamp I stamped it again with Archival Black Ink.  The inner areas of each circle were watercolored with watercolor paints, as was the outside area around the circles.  After it dried, mounted it against a gold cs panel and then ran them through an embossing folder and created a "florish" design.  The sentiment was heat embossed with white ep as well.  For a final detail, I added some tiny dots of glitter with my Viva glitter glue pen.

I hope you found some inspiration here and enjoyed the blog hop.

Don't forget, we're still within the 30 Days Of Christmas Celebration and that means all of Technique Junkies Christmas Stamps are 20% off (expires November 13) and all November Release stamps  (including the Paint Rings stamp I used above) are still 15% off (expires tomorrow-November 8).  There's no need for a code, just shop and upon check out, your discounts will be applied.  BUT WAIT....THERE'S MORE....add MY coupon code TJ10CHERI to your shopping for the Christmas stamps AND all other stamps from the store (excluding the November stamps) and receive an additional 10% off.  (You will have to enter that code in the box available upon check out).

That's it from me today....have a great week and thanks so much for stopping by!

This is one very cleverly made card SS. Totally cool design and as I look closely I see that faint embossing in the background. Great colour combinations.
