WHAT IF? WEDNESDAY COLOR CHALLENGE

Hello blog friends!!!

It's time for another fun color challenge over at The House That Stamps Built!  I don't think you'll find this one too difficult, since it's almost Valentine's Day and most of us are thinking in pinks and reds these days.

Here's the palette of colors for this challenge

Playing with these colors was easy, but deciding what stamps to use was so hard.....Repeat Impressions has so many fabulous stamps....I finally decided on the "Contain Yourself" set and had some fun with it.  If you're interested in getting some awesome RI stamps for yourself, you have an automatic 10% off if you use the code "rr10cw" when you order.

The bg is actually layered.  I placed a piece of designer paper on the card base, and then took a piece of "woodgrain" card stock from Ellen Hutson and cut it into two pieces creating a peek-a-boo effect.  After stamping the jar image, RI# 9705-M I sponged it with DI "Worn Lipstick" in a gradient manner, fussie cut it, wrapped the top with gold thread and mounted it on the base layer.  I did the same with the tiny heart stamps, 9707-B, 9708-B and 9709-B.  The sentiment is RI# 2509-H "Love, Hugs". I punched out some tiny hearts with a punch I bought at Michaels for a dollar (I love those dollar deals).

We hope you will come over to The House and play along with the challenge.  You might just win some of Repeat Impressions' awesome stamps.

Another lovely card SS. Love those hearts dropping into the jar. I remember when we used to buy sweets like that. Adorable.
