DESIGNER'S CHOICE CHALLENGE AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hi blog friends!

Do you love Repeat Impression/The House That Stamps Built Designer's Choice Challenges as much as I do??? This week it's Kecia's challenge and she has challenged us to use our favorite all time RI stamp.

Oh, Kecia....really???? When I saw your challenge I shuddered....I have SO many fave RI stamps and to pick one was so challenging.  (Oh, so that's your point.....okay...I get it now.)

So, once I did my eeenie. meeenie, mineeeee, mo, my finger stopped on this one.  When this set was introduced last summer I think we all fell in love with it.  I've used it so often for many cards and everyone always loves the cards stamped with this image on them.

The stamp is #9205-O, Hydrangea from the "Beautiful Days" collection.  For this card, I was going for a soft vintage look and used lots of Distress Inks.  I stamped the image with clear VersaMark and used white ep to create a resist.  Then sponged the image with Distress Inks.  This card was photographed during a huge snowstorm and so it lacks some brightness (even with Photoshop) and it looks so much better in real life.

Now it's your turn.  Do you have some favorite RI stamps?  If so, join Kecia and the Rock Stars....ink 'em up and link 'em up over at The House.  You could win even more RI stamps.  You have a whole week to post your entry to the challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Love the doily as an embellishment and the white outline of the stamp in white.
