Desiger Choice Challenge at Repeat Impressions

Welcome, blog friends,

It's time for another Designer Choice Challenge over at The House That Stamps Built blog and Karen Hasheck is challenging us to create a spring with pastel colors card.  If you're as ready for spring as I am, this is a refreshing change.

Spring is my favorite season.....I know, many folks say it has a distinctive smell of doggy doo, but I don't think so....I see color, and hear birds.  In Maine, there is an abundance of lupine - even in the field in front of our house.  Lupine is a wild flower that adds so much color and life in spring and early summer to the Maine landscape.  It's tall spike-like flowers seem to jump up from the high meadow grass and scream their colors and demand your eye attention.  They bloom in many colors, but the deep purple is the most common.  So, in anticipation of seeing fields of lupine, I created this card using this fabulous lupine image #1711 by Repeat Impressions.  Also added to the image is the cute dragon fly #102.

We sure would love to have you join us and create your own spring card using pastels. Just head on over to The House That Stamps Built Blog for all the details.

Beautiful, Cheri! Love the CAS-ness of it. And I love the lupines, too. That would be awesome to be able to look at them across from your house. We're trying to grow some here.

Cheri - your card is so pretty with the embossing and the framed lupine. You are right, there is nothing like a big field of those gorgeous flowers! Happy spring!

I love your Spring Colors card for my DCC and just had to stop by and tell you that! I am so busy with SAS4Kids and everything else I just can't get around and comment on the team's cards as much as I would like, but this card- as always- is super!
