What If Wedneday Challenge

It's time for another What If? Wednesday sketch challeng at Repeat Impressions

Here's the sketch Wendy has for us

I like to have some sympathy cards in my collection that are suitable for men or women and this image of the footbridge #2917 seemed to do that nicely.  The sentiment is #4025 and I simply love that font.

To create the vintage look of the focal image, I used a technique I found in the June/July 2011 TJN (Technique Junkies Newsletter) called "Vintage Art" using Distress Inks.  After die cutting the image in an oval shape, I distressed the edges with a darker.  Once that was done, I "glazed" the image using Distress Crackle Paint "Rock Candy".  You can't see it in the photo, but it gave it an almost satin look and feel.  The die behind the focal image is a Tim Holtz alterations Movers and Shapers die "Mini Baroque".  I love how it framed the footbridge image. I used a punch to create the corners.   The dp is Core'dinations and Green Boutique from PTI.

Join us in this challenge, create a project using the What If? Wednesday Challeng Sketch, post it to your blog or online gallery, link it HERE and you might just win $25.00 worth of these fabulous stamps from Repeat Impressions.

Thanks so much for dropping by and for your nice comments - reading them always makes my day!
