Saturday is World Card Making Day

Greetings blog friends!

Saturday, October 1 is World Card Making Day.  Here in Gardiner, Maine, there's big doin's over at our local stamp store, Stamp-N-Scrap, and if you're in the area, or know of someone who is, (have them) head in our direction for all the fun at- 9 Old Brunswick Rd, Gardiner, ME 04345  It all begins at 10:00 a.m.  Bring a bag lunch, stay the day and meet the folks....it's Maine - "the way life should be".

Karen Cheetham will be doing a demo of the Mummy Card" you see on her blog along with Make-n-Takes.  Karen has much more planned for everyone attending WCMD.

Grace Lange Way will be demonstrating some very pretty, easy small boxes that can be made with the Accu-Cut machine ( for under a $1.00 ) and decorated with small Rubberstamp Tapestry stamps and ribbon for your fall, holiday or any all occasion gift giving.

I will be demo'ing these ATC CHUNKIES I made.

Details: Wood blocks 2.5 X 3.5 - paints Ranger Studio "Charcoal Black", Daubers Sunset Orange, Sunshine Yellow and Sliver.  Images are cut from Graphic 45 papers "Hallowe'en in Wonderland"Collection.

There'll also be lots of door prizes, yummy refreshments and even a card exchange basket; bring a card, take a card.
So, come join the fun at Stamp-N-Scrap and celebrate WORLD CARD MAKING DAY - Saturday, October 1.  We'll miss you if you don't come.
