Mix It Up Monday

Hi there my dear blog buddies,

There's another "Mix It Up Monday Challenge" over at StampTV and it's all about white...it's a challenge from Cat and here are her details.  Have some fun and play along.

Hey ya'll!! It's time for another Mix it up Monday Challenge ...and guess who's hosting?  Yep....ME!  LOL!   I got to thinking what could we do....and since it's June...that made me think of Bride's!  Weddings!  White!!  And since it IS after Memorial day...we are going to  WEAR YOUR WHITE!!!   I want to see WHITE!   This does not mean you have to make your card all white.   I want to see accessories in white!  Think white buttons, white brads, white ribbon, white flowers....even white embossing powder will work!

Here is my card for Cat's great challenge.

It was a gorgeous, sunny day here in Maine and I just had to celebrate it and take a shot of my card in all the glory of that precious sunshine.

My card details:  The stamps are from the new StampTV Kit "Springtime Silhouettes" and the sentiment is from the newest StampTV kit "Vintage Chic".  Gina K posted a video showing how to create a great bg paper with inks from the Vintage Chic kit and that's what I did here using some of the great paper that comes with the kit.  The inks I used were Distress Inks Victorian Velvet and Old Paper.  The dress form and sentiment were stamped in Vivid Ink "Cobblestone".  I used Ranger Liquid Pearls "What Opal" on the top of the bodice for some detail and Sakura Gelly Roll clear star pen to highlight the dress form.  CS is GKD white and black onyx.  Also used - Nestability Labels # fourteen.  The white flowers are from GKD.   The lace and pearls were from my stash and the leaves are punched with a MS punches.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Cheri

Hi Cheri. I love your designs and your blog seems like a really happening place to be. I used to play with paper dolls cut from the Sears catalogue when I was a little girl. My older sister used to design clothes for them on regular paper and color them in.

I found you at The Outlawz Follow Me forum and I am now following you. I hope you will visit me at my blog, Tickell Expressions.

Blessings,
Teresa
