Congrats in Kraft

Oh, boy!  It's been awhile since I  been here blogging, but let me tell you what a fabulous reason to be away from it....visits from family....and I don't think you can beat that!  They're gone now and our home seems so empty and silent.  We had such a great time, traveling around Maine seeing sights and eating in some fantastic places....I think my hubby could be considered an official Maine guide.....he finds some fabulous out-of-the-way places to visit that offer incredible photo opps!  (as my DSIL Beth discovered and, I wish she had a blog she could show you her "lobster buoys hanging from a tree" shots.)

Over at StampTV  it's another "Free For All Friday" challenge.  This time Cat is hosting - here are her details:

...if you know ANYthing about me it's my love of GKD kraft cardstock!!   Sooo my challenge to you is to use kraft cardstock!!  Easy right?!!  Kraft goes with EVERYthing!!  It's the NEW black!  :D   So show me what you can do with it, don't cover it up, I want to be able to SEE the kraft cardstock!!
(It does not HAVE to be Gina K kraft cardstock, but as close to kraft you can get if you do not have any...but you NEED this cardstock!! LOL!)

Here is my card for Cat's challenge.

I used a CuttleBug EF to create the background and then sponged some Memento Rich Cocoa ink on the raised image.  A window was cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities Large Octagons and then framed using the scalloped octagons dies.  Using the same Nestabilities the focal image was stamped, cut and  colored using Copic markers.  I drew a glittery edge on the inside of the center of the flower with a Sukura Gelly Roll pen.  The stamps used were Gina K Designs "Year of Flowers" and (sentiment) "Arranged With Love" by Melanie Muenchinger.  Using tiny gold pearls I dotted the frame and then added a bow of twine (purchased from Gina K at StampTV) and a Prima Flower.  The cardstock is GKD Pure Luxury, "Kraft", "Creme de Menthe" and "Ivory".

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I also want to add that my prayers and thoughts are with the folks and their families in Missouri, Oklahoma, Alabama and the other areas where the horrific weather has taken so much.  God bless them all.
