Designer's Choice Challenge At RI

Don't you just love fun challenges???? If you do, you'll love the paper piecing challenge Repeat Impressions Rock Star Patti Gilliam has for us this week.

Come on over and play along with Patti and all the Rock Stars.  Just link your paper pieced creation to the challenge area at The House That Stamps Built - you could just win $25.00 worth of fabulous Repeat Impressions stamps.

Here's my paper pieced card for Patti's challenge.

For my card I used stamp #5116-I "Sitting Cat Silhouette" I stamped it on several different dp both on the front of the paper and the back (in order to get a cat sitting in a differet direction).  I then fussy cut them all out and adhered them to a black layer panel that I had punched with my MS "birds on a wire" edge punch.  The sentiment is RI Stamp #2516 -G "The Cat's Out of the Bag".  This was such a simple card to put together and really fun to do.

Come on over to The House That Stamps Built and play along!!!!  For more inspiration check out the other Rock Stars' creations.

What If? Wednesday 91912

It's What If? Wendesday at The House That Stamps Built, Repeat Impressions blog.  That means we have a fantastic sketch to create a card design around and what creative person doesn't like a sketch challenge????

Here's the sketch.

Please join us and create your own card using this fun sketch.  When you're ready, just link it up to The House That Stamps Built and you could win a $25.00 gift certificate for some fabulous Repeat Impressions Stamps.

Here is my card using Wendy's sketch

Stamps:  Repeat Impressions #5127-K  "Maple Leaf Silhouette" and 3213-G "For The Beauty"  I masked the upper part of the sentiment in order to get just the "Let Us Be Grateful" sentiment.  The maple leaf silhouette was stamped on GKD Pure Luxury "Aqua Mist" cs with my Kaleidacolor "Autumn Leaves" ink pad.  (I've had it for so long and rarely use it)  I used a piece of Bo Bunny "Apple Cider" dp for the background piece.  The base layer is cs "Spiced Pumpkin" and the cs layer for the sentiment is "Sweet Mango" from GKD.

Stamp of the Week at The House That Stamps Built

Hi blog friends and followers!!!
Don't you just love a good deal?  I sure do and while many of you know about the Stamp of the Week offer at Repeat Impressions, some of you may not, so here's the scoop....Each and every Monday over at The House That Stamps Built (Repeat Impressions Blog), a brand new featured stamp is offered for all the followers and members of Repeat Impressions for 50% off the retail price.  You can gather up some awesome rubber for a great price, so take a look and don't miss this offer, each and every Monday.

Here is this week's stamp and I know you ladies can have some fun with this one!

Here is my Queen card

Stamps:  Repeat Impressions 7118-I "Queen" and #7015-G "All I Ask".  (They just go together, don't you think?)  My embossed bg is from Lifestyle Crafts and it's called "Tea Party".  I used GKD Pure Luxury cs white and "Vibrant Violet" for this card as well as some mirror paper I had on hand which I used behind the scalloped circle of the queen.  I used Creative Impressions paints to paint my embossed bg as well as to paint the queen.  (I love these paints).

This is such a fun stamp and I know you'll love to have it in your collection.

Thanks so much for stopping by - please visit my SOTW teamies for more great inspiration using this stamp.

Have a great week, my friends!
