Woohoo, over at The House That Stamps Built it's sketch challenge time with a new sketch that Wendy, (owner and designer of all Repeat Impressions Stamps), has created for us.  Here's this week's sketch

 

We hope you'll come on over to THE HOUSE and play along with this sketch challenge.  Just post your project to your blog, grab the link, head on over to THE HOUSE and use the link to post it there.  You'll then be entered in a drawing to win $25.00 worth of rubber stamps (your choice) from Repeat Impressions.  IF you use a RI stamp on your project...you'll be entered in the drawing 2x. 

 

Here's a card I made with RI stamp #4305-I "Fairy Kiss".  The image was colored with Copic Markers.

 

 

 

I have a lot of buttons I've collected over the years and I used three of these adorable rose looking buttons to help me embellish this card.  I love the look they gave this card.

STAMP OF THE WEEK AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Happy, happy Monday, blog friends!!!

Believe me when I tell you this is a fabulous stamp!!!  Color it, paper piece it, use it naked as it comes....you will LOVE it!!

Here's a card I made using this stamp.

The sentiment stamps is #1303-E and I cut it so I could reposition it as I wanted. 

I love the results of the stamping, coloring and then highlihting with a white pen on kraft card stock.  Using a Copic blender created a super outline of the image after it was all colored.  Makes it look like it's popping off the page yet it's one dimensional.

DESIGNER'S CHOICE CHALLENGE AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hello again, blog friends! 


We're here for another fun Designer's Choice Challenge for Repeat Impresssions and The House That Stamps Built.  It's Karen's turn to challenge us this week. 

Before I get started with the challenge, I'd like to give a big "Happy Birthday" shout out to my card making, super creative, sister-in-law, Beth!  Happy Birthday Beth!  I hope you have a fabulous day and a card to you from me is in the mail!  (yes, of course, it's late).

Karen's Designer's Choice Challenge is a technique challenge - use a brayer.  Oh, boy!  I have used a brayer so infrequently that this was a REAL challenge for me. 

Here's my card

I've used masking on this card too.  After I finished the masking and brayering, I stamped RI Stamp #2409-M Divi Divi Tree in VersaFine Black ink.  The sentiment is RI Stamp #3924-G.  I hand drew the birds.

This was a fun challenge, Karen, and now that you have be started....I may just do more brayering for backgrounds.

CAS at Outlawz - Die No Mite

The CAS challenge at Outlawz this week is

"You're DIE-namite" Challenge

Dust off those die cut machines friends and show us your DIE-namite creativity! Create a CAS card/project that uses a die cut on it (card base does not count..lol). Any theme, any colors....as long as it has at least one die cut...the choice is yours!

Hi blog friends.....Yay....it's Wednesday and hump day and What If?  Wednesday day at Repeat Impressions and The House That Stamps Built.

This means a sketch challenge from Wendy and an opportunity for you to play along and enter to win some fabulous RI stamps.

Don't you just love this stamp? (Bear Hug, #1601K) It can be used for so many cards: anniversary, friend, love, thinking of you, love you, comfort.....so cute and so versatile.  The sentiment stamp is #2503-H.  In order to get it to fit in the die, I cut it between the words, then stamped it.  Voila....fit!!!!
