JUNE 2018 INSPIRATION CHALLENGE FOR THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT
Hi there house friends!!! We're having an inspiration challenge for you this week at The House That Stamps Built and it's a beautiful palette to work from. Here's a card I created using the inspiration. I drew from the colors and the floras.
A few years ago, I won a set of Tim Holtz Embossing Diffusers and I rarely use them. I was going through my embossing folders the other day and "found" them and decided to use them for this card. I stamped RI#1709-I "Stencil Bouquet" with Memento Bamboo Ink and colored it with Copic Markers. I added the sentiment (partial) RI#9717-C "Happy Hello", then embossed it with the round diffuser plate and an embossing folder. To finish it off, I added some clear sequins and mounted it to a colored layer and then a base layer.
We hope you'll come over to THE HOUSE and check out the details on how to enter the challenge and then join in. There's a big drawing at the end of the month for a $25.00 GC for some Repeat Impression Stamps. You just might win this awesome prize. Thank you for stopping by. How about more creative ideas using this inspiration? Check out my talented Rock Star team mates.
What a beautiful and sophisticated card, perfect for the inspiration photo. I have something similar to the Tim Holtz Embossing Diffusers that I have never used, so thanks for the inspiration!
So pretty!! Love how you've done the partial embossing; it looks fabulous!! I've tried this once, I think, and it was not very successful. Looks like those diffusers really work well.
I have these diffusers and I don't think that I've ever used them. Thanks for in inspiration to dust them off. I really like your embossing folder on this too.
