JANUARY SKETCH CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE

Hi there, blog friends!  

 It's time for another What If? Wednesday challenge from The House That Stamps Built and Repeat Impressions stamps!  

 This week it's sketch challenge time and here is the sketch

My card for this challenge uses one of the cute Bear stamps and sentiment RI#1918=F "Beary Special" and RI, #701-K "Belle".  I love to color this image and I've found it can be used for many cards from birthday to welcome baby.  

For a change, I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils.  I've had them for years and they rarely get used.  I wanted to try a pencil technique I learned from Julia Altermann on YouTube.  While I don't think I achieved the look I was going for I liked the layering technique with the pencils, so I'll continue to work on it.

    Awwww.....she is just darling!!! I'm working on a card for a future challenge using this image - too stinkin' cute! Love your card, Cheri - that background is perfect! Thanks for the inspiration!

    Love the pencil coloring - I just went and watched the video and I think you have nailed it. Love the bear image, just too cute.
