STAMPTV CSS ALUMNI BLOG HOP CHALLENGE
Hi blog friends!!!
Welcome to the monthly StampTV CSS DT blog hop. This challenge is a color challenge given to us by our own Linda Payne and the rules are to use non-traditional colors with absolutely no red or green.
If you've come here from the uber talented Brenda's blog, you're in the right place. If not, head on over to the beginning of the hop and see all the inspiration in order, so you don't miss one. Because...if you visit each blog and leave a comment as you hop, on Friday morning (December 21), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps! What a Christmas gift for you that will be!!!!!
I don't have a lot of time these days, so my card is very simple to make - perfect for schedule. It was made using Gina K Design Pure Luxury CS "Little Boy Blue" and White. The white was put through an snowy ef and layered on the card base. Using a Memory Box die "Country Landscape" on the same cs and layered that on the white panel. I used the dove and sentiment from one of my favorite GKD Christmas stamp sets by Rupa Shevde, "The Magic of Christmas". I first stamped the dove in Memento Nautical Blue ink, cut it with Spellbinder Classic Circle die and backed it with the scalloped circle die. I then added glue and Stickles Dry Fine Glitter in "Waterfall" to the image and heat set it. After mounting it with pop-dots to the front of the image, I then added Stickles glue "Watherfall" to the outline of the dove and the die at the base. The sentiment was also stamped in the Memento Nautical Blue ink.
Thank you for stopping by, good luck with the blog hop....I hope you win! Now head on over to the fabulously talented Geri for more inspiration with Linda's color challenge.
