Card Class

What fun it has been to teach a beginning card class for our school district's adult education program this year.  The great people who have taken the class are such fantastic sports.....I've given them some pretty "beyond beginner" techniques to do....yet the only consistent "challenge" we have is tying ribbons - who can't relate to that???

Last night we created Easter Cards and they were given at Mother's Day card "kit" to create later at home. I'll post that card at a later date.  Here are the cards we made at the class last night.

Shaving cream technique was used to create this background.  The fantastic stamp set "Easter Blessings" is designed for Gina K Design by Rupa Shevde and really works well with this technique.

You can't have Easter without some cute bunnies hopping by.  The stamp set "Basket Blessings", designed by Melanie Muenchinger for Gina K Design We used some Bo Bunny Violet Dot Back To Basics paper and layered it against a soft violet Bazzell card stock.  The bunnies were colored with chalks.  The "grass" and the "cloud" were created using sponge daubers and Distress Inks "Bundled Sage" and "Milled Lavender".

Thank you for stopping here.
