NOVEMBER 2018 TIC, TAC, TOE CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

There's a new Wednesday challenge for you at The House That Stamps Built and it's the ever popular Tic, Tac, Toe challenge. Come on over and play along.
My card uses Repeat Impressions Stamps #815-N "Moose", #2709-I "Large Pine Forest", #2719-K "Lg Pine Tree". The sentiment is #1113-D "Happy Birthday" (which I cut in half so I could use it lengthwise as well as over and under as it comes).
To create the card, I stamped the moose in Memento Espresso Truffle dye ink and colored him in with Copic Markers. I then made a mask of him and masked my colored image.
To create the background, I pressed Distress Oxide Ink in "Evergreen Boughs" on my craft mat. I then spritzed my stamp with a little water, dabbing the excess off on a paper towel if I thought it was too much. I then stamped into the ink and onto the card panel. I did it in this fashion, as opposed to inking the stamp then spritzing with water, to see if I could get a more controlled look of the tree forms. I think it worked.
With what was left on my craft mat, I added a little more water and with a paint brush splattered it across the panel. I added twine around the perimeter to create a rustic frame.
My card follows the upper horizontal line on the tic, tac, toe board; Nature colors, Moose and Twine.
Have some crafting fun this week, and all month, and play along with our Wednesday challenges. You have all month to join in on any of them in order to get your name in a drawing for a $25.00 GC for Repeat Impressions Stamps. All the details can be found at THE HOUSE.
