MAY 2018 INSPIRATION CHALLENGE FROM THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hey there, HOUSE friends!!! 

 We're here with a new weekly challenge for The House That Stamps Built, and this one is an inspiration challenge.  

From the palette below, I was inspired by the beautiful pastel colors.  One of my favorite Repeat Impressions stamps is RI#1704-P "Great Blue Heron".  I stamped it with VersaMark ink on a white card panel and heat embossed it with white ep.  I then sponged Distress Oxide Inks over the embossed image, creating a resist.  I added darker colors for shadow to areas on the image with Inktense pencils.  After die cutting the image, I layered it against a dry embossed background. I used RI#3902-G "My Heart Sing" for the sentiment.

    Every week you inspire me and I’m so impressed with your projects - this one is amazing- the pebbles on the background is a perfect backdrop to your image.

    Oh Cheri -- I LOVE the background you created for your blue heron with oxide inks!! So perfect and gorgeous!!

    WOW! Love the beautiful colour blending here behind that gorgeous heron. The bubble embossing add so much to your card as does the zig zag cut. Beautiful SS
