ONE MUST LIVE

Hello Technique Junkie Peeps.....

I have a little vintage looking card for you today using some more fabulous Technique Junkie Stamps.    Well, actually ALL TJ stamps are fabulous!  That said, if you love them as much as I do, you'd also love to have a discount to help you in your purchases.  I can do that because I have a coupon code for you...just use TJ10Cheri at checkout and you'll get 10% off your entire order.

If you're like me, you need some flowers in your life right about now....I feel cabin fever closing in and it's only January.  Have you shopped in the Flowers section of the Technique Junkies store?  There are so many gorgeous images to chose from.  For this card I chose  "Rose"  and I let her stand alone and be the elegant focal image she was meant to be.

I stamped "Rose" in Memento Gray Flannel ink in my MISTI, leaving the stamp there.  I then colored it with Copic Markers.  When that was done, I put it back in the MISTI and inked the stamp again with Memento Olive Grove Ink.  This outlined the image beautifully.  For additional accent I used my gold gel pen to outline the petals.  The sentiment is "One Must Live".  I loved this font and thought it went well with the vintage look I was trying to achieve.  After die cutting the panel and adhering it to a light pink base, I added some Nuvo clear drops for a little interest.

Stop by, and sign up to get the Design Junkies Blog so you don't miss any daily postings.  You'll see incredible paper craft artists there and we also have a monthly challenge.    And come on over to our FaceBook Page and join us there.

  2. How unique to place your flower back into the Misti. I'd be too nervous. This turned out beautifully.
