HOLLY BIRD IN WATERCOLOR

Hello Junkies!

Did you get to join in our our new release hop for September?  It was fabulous and two people won a $100.00 gift certificate.  Congratulations to those winners!

Don't forget you have until Friday, September 8th to get 15% off any and/or all of the new  Technique Junkies September stamps so, if you haven't already done your shopping, don't miss this great discount opportunity.

I painted this fabulous "Holly Bird" stamp with Distress Markers after being inspired by this video by Jill Foster.  It took some time, but I really love the results.

After the stamping and painting, I fussy cut along the edge of the leaves and then backed it with some gold cs.  Then the whole layer was mounted with dimentional tape and adhered to a base layer of teal colored cs.

The sentiment is from another new set called "Gifts of Christmas, Set of 5" which I stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with white ep.

I hope you found some inspiration here and if you'd like a little more enabling, and would like to purchase any other Technique Junkies stamps (excluding those from the September release), please use my coupon code at check out and save yourself 10%.

Thanks for stopping by...have a crafty week.
