INSPIRATION CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT
Hello challenge lovers,
A new challenge has been posted at The House That Stamps Built and this week and it's an inspiration challenge.
A new challenge has been posted at The House That Stamps Built and this week and it's an inspiration challenge.
It's way too premature to feel like spring here in Maine, (we're just digging out from a snowstorm that dumped upwards of two feet of snow on us) but that's what this photo made me feel like, so I went with it.
I did a watercolor wash for the background on this card with Distress Inks then off stamped the image using Archival "watering can" gray in order to get a very light stamped image. I used Inktense watercolor pencils to color the florals and the dragon flies. The sentiment was also stamped with the same gray ink. Stamps used are both from the "Beautiful Days" Series.
I hope you'll take a few moments and visit my team mates for more inspiration....they will WOW your senses with what they've done with this inspiration.
After seeing these fabulous blogs and the creations, come on over and join the challenge. We'd love to see what inspires your creativity using this image. All the details for entering our challenge and how to win a $25.00 gift certificate for some awesome Repeat Impression Stamps, visit THE HOUSE.
If you'd like some shopping incentive....use this code RR10CW and get 10% off your entire order of Repeat Impressions Stamps.
I'm entering this in the new challenge over at Simon Says Stamps - Florals
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a super creative week.

Absolutely Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Looks store bought with your soft and pretty coloring - well done. I also won't tell you that it is 80 here ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, Cheri, your card is stunning. So refreshing to see in the winter. Your colour wash turned out well. I should pull out my inktense pencils more often. Thanks for the inspiration. So sorry you're digging out of the snow. For some reason, here in Sarnia Ontario, we are having a green winter. My mom lives in Atlanta and they already have buds on their trees.
