DESIGNER'S CHOICE CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE

Greetings, blog friends!

There's a new Wednesday challenge over at The House and this week it's a Designer's Choice.  The incredibly talented Rock Star, Kathy Stacy gets to host the challenge and she's selected "Winter Wonderland".

I have to say, this is an unusual winter for Maine....there is no winter wonderland.  However, we've had plenty of winter wonderlands in the past and they are beautiful moments to see.

I created this card for Kathy's challenge.

The backgrounds (in the snow globe and the layer) was created by sponging and painting with Distress Inks and Markers, and then splattering with water.  I also used some Perfect Pearls spray to add some glimmer.  Stamps used were RI#8902-L "Moose Snow Globe", RI# 2006-H "Let It Snow".  The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.  The base of the globe was colored with Copic Markers.  To ground the globe, I used some white glitter paper and cut it out with a border die.

Please visit the my awesome teammates for more inspiration.

Head on over to The House and get all the details and join the challenge.  We can't wait to see what you create.

Thank you for stopping by, and for your comments.  They mean so very much to me.
